Why Signal Driving School?
At Signal Driving School, our instructors have exceptional experience in teaching a wide range of learners. We teach learner drivers the right traffic road rules. We also inform them about safe driving techniques. Our driving instructors service many Brisbane suburbs. These include the Gap, Bardon, Auchenflower, Moorooka, Clayfield, Taigum, Banyo, Chermside, Northgate, and many more. Our operating days are from Monday to Sunday, from 6 am to 8 pm.
Professional Standards
At Signal Driving School, we take care of our customers. You don’t have to come to us, we come to you!! At the end of the lesson, our instructors also drop you off at your point of pick up.
All our lessons are stress-free and enjoyable. You learn and develop new driving techniques. By the end of each lesson, we prepare you to become the best and safest driver on the road. Our priority is to prepare our students for their test. We do this by equipping them with several driving techniques. We pride ourselves on producing safe and independent drivers following their licence attainment.
Best Driving Lessons Prices
We provide driving lessons at reasonable prices. We believe that quality comes first. Remember, cheap does not mean good!
To book a driving lesson, the preferred method is our online booking system. Most of the time we are on the road training learner drivers and we might not answer phone calls. Texts or email are preferred!
Mature Age and Overseas Licence Holders
At Signal Driving School, we cater to your specific needs, whether you are a new driver, transitioning from automatic to manual, or resuming driving after a break. We also specialize in assisting overseas licence holders with the transition to a Queensland licence.
Overseas Licence Transfers
The requirements for transferring an overseas licence depend on your country of origin and its recognition status with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Recognized Countries: Drivers from certain countries may be able to transfer their licence without a practical test.

Non-Recognized Countries: Drivers from these locations must pass the Queensland written road rules test (PrepL) before they can qualify for a practical driving assessment.
Driving Test Booking Services
To book your practical driving test, visit The Department of Transport and Main Roads website (TMR) then book your driving test there. If you are planning on using our vehicle for your driving test. You will also need to check the Signal Driving School booking site to see if we have availability.
Most people check our availability first, then book the test on the TMR website.

Did you know that Signal Driving school instructor have experience in testing areas? These include Greenslopes, Sherwood, Toowong, Carseldine, Zillmere, and last but not least Strathpine. We also occasionally offer car hire and pre-test lessons in Wynnum, Redcliffe and Logan. However, please contact us to check our conditions of the offer.
Meet your instructor
Chris has skills in conducting automatic and manual lessons. He has experience in both north and south of Brisbane areas. He loves driving and understands the need for learner drivers to become safe drivers. Furthermore, he is calm and understands the challenges that come with learning how to drive. He will get you to your final destination of passing your driving test and getting your driver’s licence. He does this by equipping you with technical expertise and safe driving skills.
